BLT & Farsoon see significant stock market gains, BigRep faces major decline

Atomic Layer of the Day:
This week, two leading Chinese companies producing metal AM systems—BLT and Farsoon—saw significant value increases on local stock exchanges. Both companies' stock prices rose by +17%. BLT’s market valuation once again exceeded 2 billion USD (2.02 billion USD), while Farsoon surpassed the 1 billion mark (1.18 billion USD).
In comparison, the market valuations of Stratasys and Nano Dimension stand at 556 million USD and 545 million USD, respectively, with 3D Systems at 382 million USD. This means BLT is now worth more than all three combined, and Farsoon is valued higher than the two largest American AM system manufacturers.
However, these are just market valuations, as Stratasys and 3D Systems still significantly outperform the Chinese companies in terms of revenue.
The situation is much worse for Germany’s BigRep. In mid-August 2024, I reported that its market value had dropped by -75% in just six weeks since its debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. This week, the company’s value fell another -40%, now standing at 37 million USD. Considering that at the beginning of August it was valued at 230 million USD, this marks an -85% loss in value.

Another great example of large-format 3D printing using plastic granulate. The German company Materialogic prints interior components for camper vans. Just take a look at the video below!
It seems that my journey with Medium is coming to an inevitable end. Today, I accidentally discovered that my account has been suspended!!! And I don’t know the reason??? I’ve read that this is quite common on Medium, which hands out suspensions automatically left and right. I followed the instructions and believe that everything will return to normal in 2-3 days. But the glass has already been broken… That’s not how you treat your users...
